DARKNESS WITH SOME LITTLE LIGHT!!

Usually most stories start with once upon a time but literally there’s no more upon a time in Nigeria anymore, nothing changes so far except for the price of food and other essential commodities.

I remember back then in 2015 down to 2014 when life in Nigeria was still kinda manageable, now it’s just chaos upon poverty!! Haa! we dey suffer for this Niger o.when I was in secondary school, carton of noodles was sold #1,000, coaster biscuits was sold #450 per carton, Milo and Dano milk are #400 respectively. Butter comes in different shapes but the highest size was #500, lol… not now anymore thou…basically everything was still quite good. But in this current Nigeria, eat and spend lavishly then you will forever live to regret your actions.

An average Nigerian will basically struggle to buy anything,or pay for anything, all things are done in hardship, who should we cry to?? Omo I tired…sigh!! School fees increases every damn day.

Inequality, in terms of income and opportunities, remains high and has adversely affected poverty reduction. The lack of job opportunities is at the core of the high poverty levels, regional inequality, and social and political unrest. High inflation has also taken a toll on household’s welfare and high prices in 2020 are likely to have pushed an additional 7 million Nigerians into poverty in 2020. With all of these happening guess the country that feels normal in it’s present situation? Nigeria!!😂

The cost of living is beyond minimum wage, especially in Lagos whereby to get an apartment you would have to break a bank!! A room selfcontain cost a whole #400,000??? God please 🙏😭.No solid source of income to the average Nigerians and the ones above us wish to swallow all the goodies the country produces.

The rich and some folks who could afford a visa and passport to leave the country kindly does and post a picture with a caption “A new dispensation” like what does that even mean? Lol …Is Nigeria a joke to y’all?? They go out there to abroad universities while they leave us to face the cruel judgement of ASUU every goddamn time! The price of petrol increase greedily Everytime hence makes transportation unbearable. Everyone seeking each opportunity to leave the country like if other countries governments are not good enough, where una go run go?

And just recently I heard something about “Foundational Black America”

What are all these funny words?

I would stop my writing here till next time

PS: please drop a comment after reading!!

See you in my next writing 😊
